            About the cinema

            Curzon Canterbury showcases our renowned programme of independent films from all over the world, as well as a range of exciting events including live opera, ballet and theatre broadcasts. The new cinema has three screens and a total capacity of over two hundred seats, as well as a café and well stocked bar.

            Opening times

            The cinema opens 15 minutes before the first film of the day and closes 15 minutes after the start time of the last film of the day. Typically this will be approximately 12.00pm - 9:15pm, 10.45am-9.15pm on Thursdays and 10.15am-9.15pm on Saturdays however check listings for accurate information.

            Screen Capacities & Access

            Screen One - 66 seats, 4 of which removable for 2 wheelchair spaces (front row).

            Screen Two - 88 seats, 4 of which removable for 2 wheelchair spaces (front row).

            Screen Three - 66 seats, 4 of which removable for 1 wheelchair space (front row).

            All three screens are fitted with a Sony EAS two-channel RF system for hearing assist and audio description.
